Nessco MetOcean Systems provide accurate, reliable, weather data measurement and collation to the International Marine and Oil and Gas Industry, thus providing critical information for safe and efficient operations offshore.

Nessco enjoys a worldwide reputation in the field of System Integration and specialises in design, engineering, installation and maintenance of marine weather monitoring and oceanographic equipment. Nessco uses its extensive in-house resources to cover over 30 sites in the UKCS.

Using the latest NIMOS (Nessco Integrated MetOcean Observation System Software) specifically developed for Nessco and integrated with the highest quality sensors, we provide a package that meets all industry standards including the latest CAP437 regulations for UKCS operations.

Our Service Management Centre is your customer helpdesk, available 24/7. It’s staffed by experienced engineers, who will get your communications back to optimum levels ASAP.

We will provide:

  • 24 * 7 * 365 proactive monitoring of all client services
  • Remote diagnostics of Nessco provided client systems
  • 1st and 2nd line technical support to ensure maximum 'up-time' of your service
  • Client Network Management and Support

Our Centre runs to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.

 

Mobile communication products for sale or hire

We’re a leading supplier of portable and mobile radios and accessories. We can design a radio solution for all hazardous areas, as part of an integrated solution or built to customized requirements. Mobile communications for offshore and overseas are our speciality.

We’ve done this for police, fire and ambulance authorities, coastguard and mountain rescue services – everything from handheld radios, to complete trunk and digital radio solutions. We hold distributor arrangements with leading manufacturers, including Motorola and Gai-tronics.

We can also supply a full range of portable and mobile radios for hire.

 

Managed services: repairs and maintenance

We’re a full partner, on hand whatever you need. We offer:

  • Maintenance. Available on a regular or ad hoc basis, our maintenance service includes reviewing and scheduling maintenance routines, plus planning campaign visits. We’ll meet with you regularly to discuss the service, and provide Maintenance Performance Reports Service reports (weekly or monthly).
  • Personnel. We can provide telecommunications experts: Radio Operators, Technicians, Engineers – either temporary or permanent.
  • Spares. We can develop and implement systems to help manage your inventory. We’ll even procure and store critical parts for you at our base in Aberdeen.
  • Repairs. We can repair equipment either on your site (including offshore) or at our Repair Centre – whichever’s quickest and most cost-effective.

Disaster recovery

Organisations that depend on dedicated terrestrial circuits (such as fibre, frame relay, leased lines and microwave radio) have realised the value of satellite-based IP Network disaster recovery solutions to protect and rapidly restore critical voice and data information and communications.

We can advise you on the best solution, and implement it for you. This includes our satellite teleport facilities at Aberdeen in the UK.
