Project Engineer (Aberdeen)

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to provide project engineering and management on a wide range of turnkey Telecoms projects in our Systems Integration department.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The design, procurement, build, testing, installation and commissioning of telecoms systems.
Provide accurate, detailed, project design drawings and documents.
To ensure the successful delivery of each project within timescale and to budget ensuring that all agreed customer requirements are met.
To provide effective management of all the project's stakeholders during the Project lifecycle.
Liaison with customers, suppliers and third parties to ensure the smooth completion of projects.
Management of a virtual project team, supervising technicians and other engineers during the lifecycle of a project, making optimum use of the resource.
Support to the sales team in the preparation and presentation of bid responses.

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience.
Experience in Telecoms systems such as: Radio communications, Data networks, Satellite, PABX, PA/GA, CCTV, Microwave, security and Entertainment systems.
Ability to read and translate technical specifications.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate at all business levels.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry preferred.
Must possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

The role is based in our Aberdeen office and may require prolonged visits abroad for commissioning purposes.
