Field Technician / Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Field Technician/Engineer to provide support for Nessco's equipment and services based onshore, offshore and overseas as required..

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of telecommunication systems, equipment and services onshore, offshore and overseas as appropriate.
• Liaise with Company Earth Station and Service Management Centre to commission and maintain satellite equipment and services.
• Build, test and calibration of fixed and stabilised VSAT systems and other assets.
• Test and fault rectification of Company assets.
• Provide technical support to other company departments.
• Provide out of  hours support as part of the Duty Technician on-call rota.
• Completion of all QA documentation and reports as per QA procedures.

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of HND level or equivalent in a relevant technical subject.
• Experience of testing, installation and commissioning of telecoms systems preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
